A brief review of Gaminds’ main subsystems:
- Gamification. It’s the use of videogame mechanics into something that is not a videogame. Has its own article.
- Philosophy. Maybe philosophers would kill me to call this a philosophical system, but I cannot recall some other label to a system based in minimum components to ellaborate a critical reflextion about reality and propose solutions from a particular point of view (a gamer one).
- Open Source. There is no better way to build a new world than making it as open as possible. Maybe there is no other way. Unless we aim for dictatorships in where is fun to command but not so much to obey.
- Peer systems. Systems that try to build things based on collaborate effort. Wikipedia is a good example, and explain the concept much better than me. So check it there.
- OOP. The influence of Object Oriented Programming will be more noticiable when Gamind Framework is developed, a platform that allows an easy creation of Gaminds and other gamification systems.
- And, of course, videogames. Even if the other elements sounds strange to you, Gaminds will seems familiar if you have a gamer background. They are the soul of Gaminds. In fact, Gaminds is a game itself, as I have said frequently. I will keep saying it.
